I recently discovered Double Dutch suitcases, and I have to say, they are the most adorable suitcases I have ever seen.  Take, for example, this Green Paisley Carry-On.  I have seen a lot of cute colored suitcases, but never anything like this.  They use a coated canvas to give it that unique shine, but don’t worry about messing it up - they have a 3 year warranty.
